Should I buy a Yamaha or a Casio keyboard?

Both are excellent, and we're an authorized dealer for both, so we've no reason to push one. Broadly: Yamaha's PSR-I series has Indian voices, raga scales and taals built in, which suits Bollywood and classical Indian playing. Casio's CT-X and Casiotone lines are often better value at the entry level and lighter to carry. The honest answer is that key feel decides it, so play both if you can.

How many keys do I need?

61 keys covers almost everyone, learners, exam students, and most gigging players. 76 keys (PSR-EW range) helps if you're playing piano repertoire and running out of room at either end. 37-key minis like the Casiotone SA series or Yamaha PSS-F30 are for young children and travel, not for lessons past the first year.

Which keyboard is best for a child just starting?

For under-8s, a 37-key mini at around ₹5,495 is enough to find out whether the interest lasts. Once lessons get serious, move to a 61-key touch-sensitive model, touch sensitivity matters because it teaches dynamics, and non-sensitive keys build habits you'll have to unlearn later.

Are these keyboards genuine, with warranty?
